This stunning historic home renovation in the heart of Wellfleet Center was designed so well, mixing old and new, it is hard to recognize where the original house ends and the new addition begins. Incorporating seven different rooflines to achieve this build-out presented a complex challenge, which turned into an impressive showpiece.
The area connecting the main house to the addition begins with a new office and a transom window-lit hallway that leads to a spacious sunlit living area, a custom kitchenette, modern bathroom, and a new access through french doors to the previously unused second story deck.
The added built-ins, and custom integrated appliances, ensures that our client’s guests have everything they need to feel right at home.
No details in this guest suite were overlooked. Custom walls were designed to seamlessly replicate the original 1800's paneling found throughout the rest of the home.
